Bed Rentals

Bed Rentals

We provide adjustable medical beds and various other related items on rental basis via our nationwide service and delivery structure. Short and long term rental options are available, suitable to individuals, medical facilities, and medical aid schemes. Custom Fleet medical bed rentals are available also.

Combo Packages

Combo Packages

In addition to our medical bed rental packages, we also provide related product rentals such as overbed tables, air mattresses and wheelchairs, and these related items can be ordered together with a bed by making use of our Combo deals packages.

How do I rent?

At RentMed we make the rental process as easy and hassle free so that you and your loved ones can get the assistance they require as quickly as possible.

Our rental process works as follows:

  1. Identify the product you are interested in and send us a Quote Request via any of the Contact Us buttons on any of the site’s pages.

  1. We will then provide you with a formal quotation via email.
  2. Upon your confirmation to proceed with the rental transaction (either via telephone call or email) we will then request from you payment confirmation of the quoted amount, as well as any other relevant documentation that may be required.
  3. After receipt of the proof of payment and any relevant required documents, we will then schedule delivery of the product and send you an invoice for the payment received.

( Please note that no delivery will be made without the funds reflecting in our bank account And all the relevant documents received ).

  1. Next our installation team will contact you to arrange for a suitable delivery day and time.

Required information / documents for your rental transaction:

  1. RentMed provides rental equipment to customers on the following basis: Private clients (non medical aid claims) & Clients claiming back from medical aid schemes
  1. Private clients are requested to fill out the Rental Application Form via the Rental Application Form button below (or any of the Rental Application Form buttons on the site):

You will be asked to upload a copy of your ID document and Proof of address (utility bill) when filling out the Rental Application Form.

If you prefer not to make use of the electronic Rental Application Form, then you may download the form via the button below, and email your Form together with a copy of your ID document and Proof of address(utility bill) to:  admin@rentmed.co.za

3. Medical clients are requested to provide the following Patient Details to us so that we can provide you with a quote fit for medical aid reimbursement and medical quote approval purposes:

  • Patient’s full names:
  • Patient’s ID number:
  • Medical Aid Scheme name:
  • Medical Aid Membership number:
  • Next of Kin (NOK): Name, cell number & email address
  • ICD 10 code: (this code you can obtain from the treating doctor)
  • Delivery address: (where the equipment must be delivered to)

 

Rental period options

All rental products have a minimum of one month rental period that apply. Rentals are renewable on a month-to-month basis upon completion of the initial rental term.

How does payment work?

Please note the below regarding our payment structure which applies to both:

Private clients and Medical Aid clients:

  1. All clients are required to pay all fees upfront before delivery can take place.
  2. The payment needs to have cleared into our bank account before delivery can take place.
  3. All fees are payable in advance i.e. the first month’s fee will consist of: Monthly rental fee + the delivery fee + collection fee

* Each of the following months’ fees will just consist of the monthly rental fee only.

  1. Each month’s rental payment is payable at the beginning of the rental period i.e. if the rental started on the 10th of the month then the next month’s fee is due on the 9th of the following month.
  2. Medical aid clients may send their invoice received from us to their medical aid scheme for reimbursement purposes.

*Please note that medical aid schemes cover the rental of a product and do not cover/reimburse delivery and collection fees.

  1. Payments can be made via the following methods:
    • EFT (electronic bank transfer/online banking payment)
    • Card secure online payment via Yoco portal

7. You will receive an invoice for all payments received by us. Invoices and paid-up statements will be issued within two working days from the funds being received.
